Hiding Places for Dummies
Here are some tips for all of you who choose to hide from the police. My brother John masterminded this little manual after hearing the story of a friend who tried to hide behind a stump from the police. The trouble is, the stump was much to small to be used as a hiding place. So this manual was created for him.
It reminded me of one time when I was out with my buds driving in a car. One buddy said "duck..its the police" So in unison, all four of us ducked..including the driver. Well of course, when the policman saw all of us duck, he decided to pull us over. We all got charged with no seat belt offenses.
Thats what you get when you are a dummy!

The Artists Pallet
This is the back of my house. We just had the cracks and holes all patched up, and we built a deck for the back door this weekend. Sue and I have decided we want a Fresco/Mural on the back wall. My artist freind Patti came by and took a pile of pics.Patti is excited, though it will be quite an undertaking. We want a rainbow, and trees and cats and dogs and the school house and hippie flowers....oh and the sun and some birds and frogs and our hot tub. We want a Patti Rainbow original on the back of our house! Patti Rainbow is her hippie name.
We will require scaffolding and a paint sprayer. Patti wants the back of the house painted sky blue as the backdrop. I need to find a good paint for outdoor concrete. We need to figure how to seal it all when it is finished. Some sort of clear coat that wouldnt cause the colors to run would be nice.
Any comments would be cool. I am excited!
My Buddy Barry
This is my buddy Barry. We go way back. He has been a big influence in my life. He has helped me see and appreciate many of the good things I have. With iron willed determination he has overcome many obstacles; Some man made and some dealt to him. I have watched him bear down and grunt it out with the best of them. He could throw a bale of hay farther than me. He could set up his craft booth as if he was a crew of 10. He never let his handicap stop him from doing anything. Quite remarcable.
Barry has a bunch of electric scooters. I like riding his scooters. Yesterday we went for a ride. I rode Pattys bike, while he drove the scotter. Two madmen I say! We went and got a load of firewood for the camp fire. He wrode the scooter back with $14.00 worth of campfire loaded on his lap. What a laugh!
Barry went to University of Guelph and got his degree late in life. He became the handicapped student coordinator. He has a respected position and opinion on staff. He mentors and assists about 200 handicapped kids at the university. He works like a madman...the same way he plays.
There is nothing my buddy Barry couldnt do, oh other than beat me in a foot race. No wait, he'd probably trip me and then run me over with his scooter! He doesnt like to lose!
