Dealing With False Teachers

Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly.

  2. What is true and what is false anyway? Does it really matter as long as we just get along and be nice? To teach something that is false really has no consequences as long as no ones feelings are hurt by it, especially if what is taught is approved by the heirarchy of the church denomination a minister belongs to. After all, they're smarter than us, and the church denomination a minister belongs to has likely been around since before we were born.

    Unless you've got yourself a rogue minister/teacher?
