Mud and Pretty Flowers

After my last post, I thought I should follow up with something a little more masculine...haha. After we had to postpone the camp trip we decided to go for a good ATV mud ride. It had rained all night and up until 10ish. We met at the gravel pit at noon...4 bikes and 4 nerds.

Mike trying to get out of the pit. This one swallowed me up in the other direction and I had to be whinched. Mike has more power and more clearance, yet he couldnt get out of the rut either....made me feel better...haha..made us all feel great!

Pete took the challenge on a stretch that had never been beaten( by us ) and he failed. He was stuck within 5 feet of entering and managed to battle another 8 feet before capsizing his bike. He had to shut it down and whinch it out.

Lottsa Water on the trail and lotts great mud

Pretty Flower...Ladys' Slipper....Boreal Forest Orchid

Old wooden bridges

A little mud never hurt anyone...Pete later ended up in to his waste and was later seen washing his clothes in the river.

Drink break at one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Lady Slipper Flower.
Spring is a great time in the bush. There are many beautiful flowers. I stop to admire them. From mosses to lichens, to fungus and mushrooms. From ground cover to bush. Every plant, flower, shrub and tree is a gift.
I have seen many rare, and dare I say,
pretty flowers.
