We brought all our fish guts from the days catch over to gull island
There were nests, eggs and hatchlings all over
Some nests had as many a 4 eggs
We had to be careful where we stepped
These two gulls were hatching. If you look closeley, you can see the first holes.
This was an honor and a joy to see this little hatchery.
The gulls flew over head in circles until we got in the boat.
Then it was business as usual,
oh, with a big feast of fish guts!
