Snapping Turtle - Magnificent Creature!

Here is a Snapping Turtle on side of the road....

She digs a nice big hole in the gravel to lay her eggs...

and then she covers them up....

and slips back into the river.......

right there on the side of the road, beside the river.......

and with a little patience and some good timing

You can see the egg falling into the nest.

Magnificent and beautiful creature!!!!
